Terms and Conditions

vRealm applies the terms and conditions for both tutors and students who become the users of the application. This is to extend an understanding of how we deal with the management of our users and the use of this platform for their relevant purpose. The members will be referred to like you and vRealm will be referred to as we in the remaining documents. The individuals reserve all the rights not to join the services in case of disagreement with the terms and conditions; however, after joining; the users will be bound to abide by the terms and conditions. This document does not imply any legal obligations or rights for the users; this is not a contract however using the services will be considered as the showing agreement to all the terms and conditions.

1. Account Creation: When you create a user account, we collect your name, email address, username, and password and we may ask you to optionally provide demographic or other information such as your school, gender, age or birth date, zip code, and information about your interests and preferences.
2. Profile Creation: You may have the opportunity to create a profile that may include photographs, information about your academic and work history, and your interests and activities.
3. Communications: We collect personal information from you such as email address, phone number, or mailing address when you request information about our Services, register for our newsletter or loyalty program, request customer or technical support, apply for a job, or otherwise communicate with us.

The Company provides tutoring support services, including without limitation, the introduction of the Tutors to the Client, administration, and management of the tutoring Sessions, finalizing the details of each Project (the “Services”) and any appropriate and reasonable task associated with such services and assigned by Client, provided that both parties have agreed to such additional Services in writing.

1. Cancellation of Lessons by Client/Student: The Client/Student may cancel sessions/lessons by giving at least 24 hours prior notice to the Tutor or staff members in which case no lesson fees will be incurred. Lessons not attended by the student without giving 24 hours prior notice to the Tutor shall be charged at the full rate.
2. Cancellation of Lessons by Tutor: The Tutor may cancel lessons by giving 24 hours prior notice to the Client/Student in which case no fees shall be incurred. Where a lesson was prepaid, the Tutor shall reschedule the appointment at a time agreeable to both parties, failing which the Client/Student shall be refunded with such a missed lesson fee.
3. Late Arrival: Fees are calculated according to the times stipulated in the schedule and no adjustment shall be made for time lost because of late arrival by the Student. Students who arrive late will only be tutored for the remainder of the scheduled session. There will be no prolonged sessions. Any lost time because of the late arrival of the Tutor shall be compensated for by extending a lesson by mutual agreement and by such amount of time that was lost.
4. No-Show Policy: Students who are not present at the predetermined location when Tutor arrives or who are more than 15 minutes late are considered no-shows. If the student is a no-show, he or she is still responsible for payment for the tutoring session. No discount or refunds shall be given in respect of lessons not attended by the Student.
5. Refund Policy: Please be aware that we have a No Refund Policy for all services. Refund requests, including, but not limited to, those made by Students who cannot attend or use services, regardless of the student’s reason(s), and regardless of whether the Student provides us with advance notice, will not be honored. Should you choose to cancel a prepaid Learning Package after attending your first session, you will be billed for the remaining amount of the Tutoring Package price. Exceptions may be made only in cases in which a student cannot attend due to serious illness or the death of an immediate member of the Student’s family. In these cases, official documentation may be required.
